Underground Adventure Itinerary
Tbilisi - Kutaisi - Prometheus Cave - Gelati Monastery - Tbilisi
Depart from Tbilisi at 7:00 AM heading west to Georgia's second largest city, Kutaisi. After a short city tour and coffee break, we continue to the natural wonder - Prometheus Cave (Kumistavi Cave).
Explore the magical underground world with its spectacular stalactites, stalagmites, and underground rivers. Walk through 1.5km of illuminated pathways (approx 1 hour) and optionally take a boat ride (extra cost) through the mystical underground river.
After lunch (not included) at a local restaurant, we visit the UNESCO-listed Gelati Monastery, a masterpiece of the Golden Age of medieval Georgia. Return to Tbilisi around 8:00 PM, filled with unforgettable impressions of Georgia's natural and cultural treasures.
